Project ‘C.U.R.E’

At Yog Dhyan Foundation (YDF), we have tailored our project ‘C.U.R.E’ to specifically address the ground level socioeconomic issues faced by families and children with T1D, in India.

While medicine overcomes the obstacles in developing a cure to diabetes, in the meantime, YDF ambitiously aims to focus on the plausible C.U.R.E (Caring, Uplifting, Recovering, and Empowering) for T1D affected children in India. The objective at the heart of C.U.R.E is to holitistically enrich the lives of these children by providing superior medical support, counselling and eventually eradicate the number of fatalities in T1D children in India.

At Yog Dhyan Foundation (YDF), we have tailored our project ‘C.U.R.E’ to specifically address the ground level socioeconomic issues faced by families and children with T1D, in India.

  • We work towards providing all rounded medical facilities and undertake other therapeutic measures, such as yoga and to combat the ill effects of T1D.
  • We endeavor to create an enabling environment for children dealing with T1D, to help vulnerable sections in the society realize their optimum potential leading to improvement in their quality of life.
  • We strongly believe in the YDF ethos of ‘one family’, and we implement this by providing a platform to such children and families to connect and derive mental and emotional support from one another.
  • We receive recommendations from various sources, including doctors from both government and private hospitals, for children diagnosed with T1D;

Through such steps, YDF aims to create an enabling and positive environment for T1D children and help them realise their optimum potential towards living an improved and joyful quality of life.
We endeavour to extend YDF’s capacity in all aspects, in order to reach out to as many affected under-privileged children as possible.

Due to the nature of this project, this is a long-term capital-intensive initiative. Besides paying for the medical supplies, the funds raised will also help pay for ongoing fees for consulting doctors, psychologists, yoga instructors and for various educational & recreational resources and programmes for these children. Such funds are required for each child from the day they join the YDF family till the day they can financially support themselves.

Yog Dhyan Foundation is completely reliant upon voluntary donations from the public and receives no government funding. All donations are eligible for exemption under section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act.
Each and every donation is incredibly important to us and we will use every opportunity we get to make sure everyone knows it.
